The author, curator at the famous Municipal library of Bordeaux, deals in this work with the printing shops of the 15th to 17th centuries in the region of Bordeaux, i.e. at Angoulème, Périgueux, Agen, Bazas, Bergerac, Saintes, Pons, St. Jean-d’Angély, Jonzac and Ste.
