4-to (24 x 31,5 cm). Pp. 193. Black-lettered yellow cloth with pictorial dust-jacket.
Margit Kovács (1902 - 1977) was one of the leading Hungarian ceramic artists. She was a member of an artist movement/group that settled down in 1926 in Szentendre in Northern Hungary, where until now there still is a permanent exposition devoted to her magnificent works of art. A splendid work with 65 full-page coloured plates and 147 b/w illustrations, with explanatory text and an extensive introductory article on the art of Margit Kovács. German text, translated from the Hungarian by Heribert Thierry. Dust-jacket with small damages at corners, an artistic stain on flyleaf and first few pages and background of 1 plate non-disturbingly damaged, but otherwise a very good copy.
