The work provides on 76 pages the faces of 34 non-Western �languages� (and non-usual Western � Russian, Gothic and Greek - founts), from Arabic to Zend. Several of them in different forms: 6 Arabic faces, 5 Malaysian , 6 Turkish, 3 Japanese, 2 Egyptian Hieroglyphics &c). And of course several Indonesian languagesMalaysian, Javanese, Batak, Madurese and Soendanese. The last 8 pages taken by accent types. Throughout its existence, Brill has published several of these type catalogues (a.o. 1883, 1938, 1953, 1970; see also our No 20903). Very good copy.
