A nice book on the monuments of paris - dating from the Middle Ages and Renaissance to later times; the well-known monuments as e.g. Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Pantheon, but also less-known monuments as e.g. L'Hôtel Saint-Pol, L'Hôtel de Scipion Sardini and Saint-Étienne du Mont. With a plan of Paris and 115 nice drawings [many of them full page] by Nelson Dias. A fine prize-copy [stamp of the Lycée Moliere on front cover].
