	Anonymus - Book of Hours Use of Rome in-8vo (15,4 x 22,1 cm). Leaves 94 (of 96). 19th-cent. Blind-tooled, blue-crushed morocco, covers with gilt line-border around sides and 16 small gilt corner-decorations, board-edges with gilt decoration, gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, spine with 4 raised bands, gilt decorations and gilt lettering. New vellum flyleaves. Printed on vellum. Text 29 lines to a page, within historiated borders depicting Saints, allegorical figures and biblical- and daily life-scenes. (several of these repeated). With 17 three-quarter page (7,3 x 11,2 cm) miniatures and 35 smaller (2,2�3 x 3,8-4,5 cm) engraved miniatures. Initials and capitals supplied by hand in blue, red, gold and sometimes white; a great number of these 2-, 3- and 4-line coloured initials.. Line-fillers similarly supplied. Green cloth bookmark.
